Reasonable place to stay for business travelers. Hotel Hasan International in Jessore is located almost in the center of the city.
Entry and exit to and from the place is not very wide. But for the business travelers and for several years this place was the only reasonable place to stay in Jessore. Started perhaps with four floors and now it is eight storied building. Rooms from the 6th floor are still good, clean, and more or less maintained. The hotel has a good restaurant and also a conference room which is good enough for formal events of 50 plus people.
Additionally, there is a travel desk near the restaurant from where one can buy air tickets. Management of the hotel and the staff try their best to provide service within their manageable interest. But there are rooms for improvement which perhaps is not a focus for the owners. Meanwhile, another bigger in size hotel has attracted many corporate customers. Finally there is another one inaugurated on September 8 with much fun fare and I'm sure has already attracted many of the regular business travelers.
For a regular traveler like me it is comfortable as most of the staff personally know me including the front desk staff and so I get special attention. But I believe that should be the case for all travelers - regular, irregular, short stay, long stay - for all. They serve breakfast with bed and the menu is just reasonable and not much choice - bread, butter, jelly, parota, chapati, mixed vegetable, chick pea, and a sweet item.
